Workshop Resin Workshop Anycubic Wash & Cure 3 Max

Anycubic Wash & Cure 3 Max

Find out whether the Wash & Cure works, then set up the dirty and clean washes around it.

Needs diagnosis

Page updated

Current state

The Wash & Cure 3 Max came with the resin printers. It powers on and lights its display, but it has cured resin in the lines and has not been diagnosed.

Next actionRun water through the removed lines on their own, then water-test the station before relying on it.

Current phaseNot yet diagnosed

What this project tracks

  • Diagnosing the station and the cured resin in its lines
  • The dirty-wash and clean-wash process
  • Where washing and curing fit in the tent workflow

Equipment and setup

  • Anycubic Wash & Cure 3 Max (powers on and lights its display; wash and cure function unconfirmed; cured resin in the lines)
  • 45 oz pickle jars, planned for dirty-wash IPA storage
  • Fungdo resin curing enclosure, used instead of this station to cure the October 18 exposure test pieces

Open problems

  • There is cured resin in the lines. I've taken the lines off but haven't tested them yet.
  • Neither the wash nor the cure function has been confirmed.
  • The dirty-wash and clean-wash process is not set up.

Project notes

This page is the wash-and-cure workstream within Resin Workshop. The Wash & Cure 3 Max came from the same pickup as the Saturn and the Photon P1.

It powers on and the display lights up, but I haven't opened it up or tested whether it works. There is cured resin in the lines, so I need to inspect it before I rely on it. Until then, it is equipment on hand, not a working part of the workflow. I cured the Saturn's first exposure test pieces in a separate Fungdo curing enclosure instead.

My plan is to wash with IPA: most of the cleaning in a dirty IPA wash, then the station for the final steps. I'll record what I find when I diagnose it; the Build Log keeps the dated sequence.
